The postcode for heddle hill track is KW17 2JX.
You won't be able to miss it, there is a church in the middle of finstown, follow the road past the church heading up the hill, bingo u will see the track.
The Bu farm in Burray postcode is KW17 2SJ but speak to boys on the Saturday and they will guide you in the right direction for Sunday.

Hi, looking forward to this weekend however I need directions to Heddle Hill for the race on Saturday. And also Directions to Bu sands for the beach race on Sunday. If this is correct...

Aye aye, yeah not long to go monster, 5 more big sleeps til we'r going!! We are booked on the 1900 ferry on Friday and coming back on the Monday morning at 1100. We are staying in the Orcades Hostel.
At the meeting when sorting out bikes in vans etc, Thomas and Dave's only had 2 bikes in it. There is a possibility Tony Craig is needing his bike taken across to Orkney. That would mean with Tony chipping in for the fare too it would be a bit cheaper. Just a thought, let us know. |

Just a quick note to let you know that the entries are building up here in Orkney and its looking like, at this stage, about 120 riders on the start line for the beach race and we still have a week to go.
Its going to be superb and hopefully we will get nice weather, fingers crossed.
